John Houser
Founder and Principal
John is Founder and Principal of GrowCanna Consulting. He holds a science degree and has worked in the cannabis field since 2010 when he joined a Denver start-up marijuana grow company during the commercialization of recreational cannabis in Colorado. He became the General Manager and Horticulturist for the organization. John helped expand the company from one to multiple facilities and was responsible for all start-up, grow operations and product processing as well as staff management and training.
State of Colorado Certifications
John is certified by the State of Colorado in all aspects of marijuana production and licensing. He was among the first state certified to operate closed-loop extraction systems to perform terpenoids distillation via thermodynamic and pressure processes.

Design and Soils Specialist
Chris, our grow design and soils specialist, like John was a pioneer in - and is a long-time veteran - of the cannabis industry. He has going on two decades of experience in the canna commercialization arena.
He is unquestionably a renaissance man who can do design and build-out, as well as set-up, and teach your team to manage a grow environment from the ground up.
His comprehensive knowledge and skills include a special interest in grow mediums including both artificial and natural soils as well as hydroponics.
Chris likes to stay current and enjoys problem solving difficult challenges.
He is both an inventor and innovator.
